Inaugurated in 2016, the Velocity Hub of the Michigan Cyber Range, powered by the Merit Network, is the first publicly-accessible hub of its kind serving businesses in the State of Michigan. The Velocity Hub was developed by the Macomb-Oakland University INCubator in collaboration with the Michigan Defense Center of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Macomb County Department of Planning & Economic Development and the City of Sterling Heights. This secure, unclassified hub has a focus on certificate training courses for more than 20 cyber-security disciplines, in-depth product-validation penetration testing on early-stage connected products with security best-practice checklist reviews, and rentable virtual space within the secure-sandbox environment. The Macomb-Oakland University INCubator houses and manages the Velocity Hub in the Velocity Center of Sterling Heights at 6633 Eighteen Mile Road.
Our Maneuver Collaboration Center (mc2) is a differentiating resource for Michigan companies because it allows suppliers to have the opportunity to work with Land Systems on innovative solutions that can be quickly developed, tested, and fielded on our platforms. Since then, we’ve had thousands of members. Over 15% of those are from Michigan. These members have contributed thousands of innovative solutions, and 25% of all those good ideas come from companies in Michigan. General Dynamics Land Systems is always looking to form partnerships with innovative companies to develop the next generation of capabilities and platforms in the areas of power and energy, cyber, survivability, mobility, autonomy, and more.
Registration is simple and it’s free to join. Once inside, need statements can be viewed that need innovative ideas.
